About Chiropractic

Chiropractic is a branch of the healing arts that concerns itself with the relationship between the structure of the body (especially the spine), the nervous system, and the general health and well-being of the individual.

A healthy body depends upon a healthy nervous system. Because of the anatomical relationship between the spine and the nervous system, misaligned or dysfunctional vertebral segments (called spinal subluxations) can result in altered nerve flow in the body, which can adversely affect the function of the body and the health of the individual. Spinal subluxations can also result in localized joint pain, often times very severe.

By correcting the spinal subluxations, chiropractors relieve localized spinal pain, and more importantly, remove the cause of the altered nerve flow in the body.

The result is that the joints of the spine function properly without pain, and more importantly, the nervous system functions properly, allowing the body to function at its optimum.
